Ideal Storage in Lynchburg, Virginia was founded to design and offer to the public the best portable storage system available today. With that as a goal, the principals have designed, patented and manufactured a truly unique system.

Why are the Ideal units unique? These units are constructed like a truck body. Consequently, they are absolutely water and air tight. Furthermore, the units, unlike the more widely known units in the marketplace, can be delivered to a customer and placed wherever the customer desires on the customer's property. How is this accomplished? A patented system of hydraulic, pneumatic tires is attached to the unit for delivery and a mule is used to move the unit to the customer's desired location. This is especially helpful to a homeowner or business that is in the process of a remodeling project and wants the convenience of the unit being placed somewhere other than in the driveway. The units come in 16", 20' and 24' sizes to fit the customer's needs. A twenty foot unit will hold the entire contents of a modest three bedroom house. Finally, because of the construction of the units, the do not have to be stacked in a warehouse location.

Franchises are available in various sizes so that a franchise is economically viable in localities where the entry cost of the nationally known portable operations makes a franchise not financially feasible.
